Clarifying Blocks

Before you start your Challenge, read pages 2 and 3 of the Zone Diet article:
http://library.crossfit.com/free/pdf/CFJ_2015_05_Zone6.pdf
Page 3 is an explanation of "Blocks" and suggestions for how many blocks each individual should consume per day.
There is one major point of confusion: the article uses "Block" to mean both a true "Block", which is composed of Protein, Carb, and Fat, and a "Block's-worth" of Protein, Carb, and Fat.
I think this will clarify it best:
1 Block = 7g Protein + 9g Carb + 1.5g Fat
and
1 Block's-worth of Protein = 7g Protein
1 Block's-worth of Carb = 9g Carb
1 Block's-worth of Fat = 1.5g Fat
Therefore 3 Blocks = 21g Protein + 27g Carb + 4.5g Fat
and
3 Blocks'-worth of Protein = 21g Protein.

Oops, just saw this. Ignore my question in the other thread. Looks like 2 scoops of Progenix is roughly 3 blocks of protein, 1/3 block carbs and 1/4 block fat.0

So if I'm a 5 blocker...I need to pick 5 items from each of the three categories per meal/snack,
Correct?0 -
Correct! A 5-block meal = 5 blocks' worth of protein + 5 blocks' worth of carb + 5 blocks' worth of fat0

Question. Eggs for example. Are rich in fats also. Should we count those grams of fat towards the fats block or should we not for sakes of simplicity?0

I would consider eggs a one of those rare "combo" items. Egg whites are definitely protein-only, but whole eggs are protein + fat.
