Gained 1 lb this week. Better than what the scale has been telling me. I know I stayed under me calories, but didn't have the best choices. I need to re-evaluate my menus. I have a feeling the even though I'm staying under calories and pretty much spot on for protein, fat and carbs, I think I'm taking in too much sodium. Back to the drawing board. Sorry Betsy!

I didn't lose again this week. I was on track until I went to a friend's house on Wednesday and ate everything in sight, still trying to recover from that.

I'm not surprised that I had a weight gain, but was truly shocked that it wasn't like 4lbs! (But who am I to fight with the scale, right?!) Poor eating and no exercise to speak of. It was bad, I tell you!

I am re-motivated and re-committing! One day at a time, one meal at a time.

    Last week 154
    This week 154.5

sooooo I lost 1 .12 pounds this week, but that is after the gain of 2 pounds last week.... so not sure if it is a loss since last week was a gain or if it is nothing. For me... I'm glad I lost the 1.12 wish it was the 2 but heck I am getting there. Stella you decide what to do with it,

Hope what I wrote made some sense! haha

Okay - don't all freak out!
I ended up being able to weigh myself today so I could keep everyone updated.
It was a gain, as I expected... but get ready for your mouths to drop - it was a 7lb gain.
That's right - 7lb in 1 week.... No I haven't eaten a bodybuilders weight in calories, lol. It's water weight.
I am on my low carb diet as most of you know - the great thing about it is it drops all the water weight you hold on to so you can lose like 5-10lb in a week of eating this way. The bad thing about it is as soon as you eat carbs again, the body holds on to water and you put it on that quick too...

Sorry Betsy, no contribution... depending on what Stella thinks I might have even taken some success away from the group. I'm sorry for this.
I wanted to be honest with you all though and not just keep it to myself. It's only fair, so I hope I have your support?

After the weekend is over I WILL be restarting... I hope you all can forgive me. (I can't say I felt very good at all seeing the scale but I am trying to stay positive as I don't want to cry on my Birthday tomorrow!)

Congrats to all you losers today :)

Mirabelle there is nothing to forgive...we are in this together. I'm so glad you were able to share with us and I'm sure you will slay it next week.

Be kind to yourself and use us as support when you need us. And remember if it's a different scale it might be a different weight.

Enjoy your birthday then refocus and you'll be great xx

And thank you both so much for your kind words. I was really quite nervous to be so honest with you about the weight gain, but if people can't support me when I am having a bad time, then there is no point in me sharing in the group.
I had a lovely birthday today, and yes I feel bloated, lol. And I can't wait to get back on track next week, but at the same time I wouldn't have swapped it for the world and feel very spoiled with my beautiful cake the other half made :)

Mirabelle....a day here and there doesn't define what your efforts are the majority of the time.... You are fine, you will refocus and I think sometimes it just gives us something to compare it to when we have the ups and downs with weight loss. We realize what we do when the scales tip in our favor (lol) and recognize what we need to work on the other times.

Thank you so much. You've no idea how relieved all your comments have made me feel. I definitely know I am ready to get back on track and actually looking forward to that way of eating again - and I think that plays a huge part in being successful :)

Not sure where the "after the weigh-in" discussion thread is, but I would love to know your process this week. Food and exercise - are your diaries open?
