I'm struggling please help.
Which veggies are the best to fill me up with the lowest amount of carbs. I eat asparagus tomatoes and mushrooms but the carbs do still creep up plus here in the UK they are quite expensive especially asparagus.
Any ideas greatfully accepted

Spinach, courgette, broccoli - any lettuces - you can make a rocket salad with a creamy dressing and add some cheese and chicken to it.

Basically, if it is grown underground - avoid such as potatoes and carrots.

Leafy greens and cruciferous veg are good.

Avoid fruits except berries in small amounts.

Green leafies such as spinach, Kale, broccoli, bimi, bok choy, pak choy, collard greens plus cauliflower, avocado, brussel sprouts, lettuce, and as you said mushrooms, , tomato, asparagus. Non root vegies are the target for lower carbs.

I have a green smoothie every morning with any three of bok choy, spinach, avocado, cucumber, romaine lettuce, broccoli, kale, and chard. I alternate daily between spinach and bok choy. Add in one of Chia Seeds, Flax Seeds, or Heart Hemp plus some sea salt, and fresh ginger. I also add a sugar substitute (stevia in my case). Lots of vegies, 317 to 320 calories, and between 4 to 6 net carbs.

Should also mention courgette (zuchini), celery and cucumber.

I get the frozen chopped spinach from Sainsbury's or Tesco - 100g is 0.5g net carbs and it's fantastic for you :)

All of the above, plus endives and celery for a cool crunch.

I recently learned how to cook a new side dish

Fennel and leeks. It is yummy and something different!

Fennel slices can be mixed with thin sliced Brussel sprouts as part of salad that isn't just leafy.
