Today I learnt that pepsi is the most carb filled drink .... being the genius that i am , to avoid carby beer's i ordered pepsi... and suddenly i found myself ordering burger and fries... logged it on mfp to find its 215g carbs -_-"
And i am still feeling very hungry... what started out as a simple drink of beer 2 days back turned out to be precursor for a carb binge.....
whats the best way to recover and get back into keto? I was maintaining at 50 grams of carbs ... peacefully when it stopped working and had to get to 20 ish grams of carbs to kick start weight loss again...
would i be expecting the low carb induction flu all over again?

The best way to start over again is decide at this moment you are going to eat only the foods that help move you toward your goal and stick with it.
A ribeye steak always helps me counteract any cravings. Also bacon and eggs!!! Fill up on the good stuff and make no room for things that are not helping you to goal.2 -

No need to suffer "low carb flu" (can I tell you I hate that term ) because it's always completely avoidable no matter if it's your 1st or 50th time going Keto. You just need salt. Lots of it. 100% preventable.
Eat Keto foods until you're not hungry to avoid hunger.
Then, bam, back on course.

I would have to agree with Sunny_Bunmy. This time coming back I did as she suggested and upped my salt intake and I didn't have the sickness I seemed to have the first time. Getting over craving for the most part has been upping water and lots of protein...also allowing myself a few of my favorite things in new ways.3
