Marla - Hope you got some better sleep! Do you have any plans with your free time now that you're done volunteering?
April - I've found the best way to eat healthy is to stop focusing on limiting. I focus on the healthy foods I enjoy and have as much of that as I want. Also, I've stopped labeling foods as "good" or "bad". Food is food. Each one just serves a different purpose. I guess I just know that I won't stick with it if it's not enjoyable and limiting diets have been shown to be a hg h percentage of failures. If this is something I'm going to stick with the rest of my life, it needs to be something I like eating. I also have maintained for about three years now. No idea why and I've stopped caring. I would love to drop another 20-30 pounds. But right now it's not happening. But I am healthy, I am active, and now I'm happy. Best of luck with all that.
Halfway through VBS and its going well. Gonna head out for a short run and then back to bed for a couple hours before I start my day. I also plan a quick nap as this will only be about six hours of sleep or so. Making a homemade chicken Alfredo tonight that has broccoli and other veggies in it.
Have a great day everyone!

I agree Val with aiming for healthy, I have to add less food only because I have been getting heartburn. Yesterday was bad only because I ordered a chicken sandwich at coffee shop and it was big and should have only ate half. But I am working on stopping, one day at a time.
On my way to trying out new massage lady. Treating myself after all my work this past week.
With my new time I am planning on joining yoga class, doing more hiking and walking. And we are planning maybe some camping, need a few important things...like a few air mattresses I don't do sleeping on thin mat anymore.
I thought maybe some time with nature and no tech or news would pull me out of the whole political thing.
And my bookclub is next week and they picked a long book this time, I am skimming it because not really wanting to read. They normally don't pick political one but picked The presidents club, its a book about past presidents from both parties and how they become friends because of what they have in common but it goes on and on and on!!!!

Thank you for the suggestions, I'm really trying to stay focused and eat produce. That should be my motto!
Busy day but managed an afternoon mile walk with a coworker.
Love the idea of a tech vacation, Marla!
