People deep fry all kinds of things, but here is the rub: When deep frying, generally batter is added. That adds too many carbs, IMO, even if the item you are frying doesn't otherwise contain carbs. This argument does not apply to things at the state fair such as deep fried candy bars and such that already have too many carbs.0
