Carb count in vitamins

My doctor recommended vitamins have a total carb count of 10.... Should I count the 10 carbs towards my daily carb intake while on a low carb diet? .... Pro or con?

It probably depends on how deeply into ketosis you want to get, and how well you're meeting your goals overall.

I take many meds and supplements, and do not log them in MFP. They're not things that are optional for me at this point, so I wouldn't *not* take them. It's pretty constant day to day and week to week. I'm losing weight and happy with my progress, so I don't see a reason to adjust anything with it. If I hit a roadblock or prolonged stall, I would drop my daily carb limit by a bit, anyways, weather or not I'm logging the meds and supplements.

Mine have 3 carbs and I do count them on MFP. I am strict low carb (less than 20g per day) and trying to stay in ketosis for an extended period of time. I'm also in to the details and like to know exactly what I've done.. =o)

I do include in my food diary and count the carbs in all supplements & vitamins that I take.

I was, but kept skipping them (not good!) because of the carbs, so I stopped counting a few days ago so I'll take them consistently.

After beginning this woe, 15 months ago, I found my physician recommended vitamins had a total of 12 carbs for my dose each day! I quickly replaced them, and lab work hasn't been affected! I did count them with my total while still taking them.

At the beginning, I counted them just so I would know exactly what I'm eating. Now, I don't worry about it. There's literally nothing I can do about it. I keep the number in the back of my mind, but I don't log them any longer.

I take tons of supplements and have to take them. I don't count them but I do pay attention to labels and get lowest carb/calorie count I can. I guess I think of them as something that's always gong to be there so they are a part of my WOE.

I log everything with calories, which includes supplements. None of mine have carbs (some in the chewables in the past did), but they come in at 35 calories per day (fat from fish oil). It makes a difference for my total calorie counts at the end of the day.
