So what are some of your favorite or go-to smoothie recipes? Any good lo-carb books you've found for them too?

    I had a delicious one this morning.
    2scoops clean lean chocolate protein powder
    1/2 c. Frozen Blueberries
    1TB almond butter
    1 c. So delicious unsweetened vanilla coconut milk
    1/2 c. So delicious unsweetened plain yogurt
    2c. Frozen Spinach

    Low sugar and pretty low carbs. I was still able to make my 50f 30p 20c macros

    Options
    For two shakes:

    2 cups vanilla unsweetened Almond milk
    vega One protein powder
    Frozen Blueberries (1/2 cup ~small amounts)
    Frozen Apple (1/3rd Apple ish)
    Spinach (3-4 cups)
    Pumpkin purée (1/3-1/2 cup)
    Avocado
    Unsweetened coconut flakes (1 Tbls)
    Chia seeds (1 Tbls)
    Acerola cherry powder (1 tsp - for mega vit C)
    Stur Blueberry water enhancer (just a small squeeze for added sweetness and flavor)
    Ice

    I'm keto now so I can't do this but when I'm low carb I love this smoothie:

    1c unsweetened almond or cashew milk
    1 scoop whey protein (vanilla or cookies and cream are my go tos)
    1/2 an avocado
    1c mixed berries
    a handful of spinach
    sometimes I'll add cinnamon as well.

    I'll let you mix and match these ingredients. Some keto friendly options are:

    Liquids - Almond mik, water
    Thickener - Low carb ice cream (Breyers Carb smart for ex), Low carb/full fat greek yogurt, avocado
    Veggies - Spinach, Kale
    Optional Mix ins - Protein powder of your choice, chia seeds, flax seeds, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, peanut butter, coca powder, flavoring (vanilla extract, banana extract, sugar free syrups, etc)
    Optional Fruit - Raspberries, blackberries - very few

    Example: Almond milk with coca powder, 2 tbsps almond butter or peanut butter, 1 scoop of vanilla protein and ice = Reese peanut butter cup shake. If it's too thin add some low carb yogurt or ice cream.
