Running friends

Hi guys and gals
I'd really like some like minded running friends!
I'm recovering from a long standing injury I sustained from running a Trail half in Wales (uk) last year and I'm finally off the crutches (7 weeks of hell!) I'm not allowed to run major distance yet but I've started back cross training/gym work.
I prefer Trail running and have only completed up to half marathon level to date. I'm registered to do the Winter Buff Trail (half) marathon in Wales 21st January 2017 (differed from this years summer event that took place yesterday :'( sob) and my first Marathon - Greater Manchester Marathon 2nd April 2017 :D
I could really do with some buddies who can advise me with training along the way..... Plans that have been tried and tested and a good time to aim for when completing a marathon.....
Thanks :) Sallyann xxx

There's plenty of set plans, do a bit of googling.

Are you seeing a doctor/physio for advice on building up your running again?

Injuries are hell! (And crutches are awful. ) Welcome back, but be sure to do so very, very cautiously.

Yes I am, I'm still under a sports physio and he's brilliant!!!! He deals with many runners and he knows what my race plans are. I'll still do some 10k and half's but the trail in January (& June in Wales) and another trail and the marathon are my targets to build up for.
    Thanks :)
