hi all, i just found you and wanted to post to say hey! I've never been heavier than i am now, which is not terrible, but not good either. I'm having a hard time keeping motivated for some reason. Previously, i have taken off an extra 10 pounds on two occasions with no problems, but this time around i just cant seem to stay motivated for more than a week. What helps you guys when your motivation is low?

    Friends! Especially gym buddies, are a great motivation. :) Whenever I'm feeling whiny and unmotivated, my gym partner says nooooo and drags me to the gym. I do the same to her. It also makes working out more fun, because no one should have to suffer through cardio or weights alone haha. Hope you find your motivation soon! :*

    I'm more like you, am motivated to lose but can't seem to maintain. Am going to try to be different this time around and weigh everyday or every other day--people have said here that catching the gain at 2 or 3 pounds is the only way........how tall are you?
