Sunday at a fireworks event my sister took a picture of me. It was the first time I have seen a photo from knees up since going Keto Oct 2014. It caught me off guard. Actually that day I was at about 195 pounds. You do have to click on the photo to see it all.

Thanks everyone.
Since I cut out the sugar and grain to try and manage my 40 years of joint and muscle pain to avoid Enbrel injections and not for weight loss so my weight has never be a critical goal. My only major goal has been to improve my health. Since the pain was well managed in 30 days and the IBS fully resolved in 180 days maining at 200 for a year after being at 250 for many years made me very happy. Blood pressure was up to like 135/88 by but now it is like 110/70. I am happy to see my health improving and no Rx meds in the mix but just wholesome food at age 65.
Seeing the weight loss side effect of LCHF in a visual way for the first time that it really clicked was like WOW!9 -

Congratulations!! The last time a photo caught me off guard was about ten years ago when I was at my heaviest and sporting a wildly unflattering hairstyle. I looked like a bulldog in a Dolly Parton wig.
Tragically that picture was taken at a family wedding and I can't burn it. I do keep it in a dark closet, hoping my husband will eventually forget it even exists and THEN I can burn it.1 -
