Starting to see my old body emerging

It has been about a month since I started LCHF and I have yet to stand on a scale. I have scale phobia! Anyway I'm seeing results in the mirror and some of my old clothes are stating to fit.
I am really quite amazed at my results as I am truly not hungry. My carb craving have settled down. I still feel tempted by seeing/smelling fresh bread or jujubes. I do love bread and sugar. But the feeling is more mental remembering the taste rather than a physical craving, and I can resist it without too much effort.
My strength an energy have come back and I feel good. I've been going to the gym regularly and I'm feeling stronger and have more energy.
I still have some fat phobia and am amazed that I can eat high fat foods and still lose weight. It is so counterintuitive.
This WOE seems to really work for me so I guess it will be a permanent change. I will miss my bred and sweets but I don't miss the craving, blood sugar swings and roller coaster hunger. It is amazing to go hours between eating and not be starving and suffering hunger, shakiness, and lightheadedness.
I guess this is what it feels like to have a stable blood sugar.
Initially I felt a bit deprived and ate more things like nuts to snack on to feel better. But honestly I don't feel the need to snack really anymore. Just eating my meals is enough. So weird!
Anyway I'm happy with my progress so far!

its fab, when you feel it - I think NSV are better than scale victories sometimes as they boost your self confidence - totally agree with you about the WOE being something to do for life - have never felt this free2

Gongrats on finding something that works for you. Also just fyi, there are several LCHF recipes out there for both "breads" and sweets of all kinds. I have a huge sweet tooth myself so I indulge safely by making up some LCHF breads / sweets for myself at home. Just something to consider.0

Fat bombs are low carb candy. There are many recipes out there to choose from. Crustless low carb cheese cake is my go to dessert.0 -
