Massive headache day two, had a picnic watching London bike race with prepared food and a couple of slimline G&Ts on Sunday. keeping carbs to 20g if I can although sometimes it has gone ap to c30. Ie. Split is 5 to 10% carbs, 70% fat and the rest carbs. Struggling to keep fat high and keep protein not too high. Slightly worried about calcium intake. Lost 6.5 lbs in week one. Delighted but not feeling that energetic yet ....

Electrolytes!
Read the sticky at the top of the group on them. Should nip the headache and some fatigue in the bud.
I'd paste it but I'm on the tablet and it is being a jerk today. Running the little turds....er....I meant... angelic offspring...around everywhere today. Busy busy. Maybe someone will elaborate for you.
Don't struggle too much. Just worry about this:
Keep under carbs.
Meet protein range.
Fill the rest of your cals with fat to satiety.
Check out the LaunchPad resources. Do the FAQ link first, and then prowl the Open Threads link. And finally the Recipe site library.

Yes. That headache is a sign of low electrolytes. Add a teaspoon of salt to water or drink a couple of cups of broth. It should help.
And congrats on your success so far!1 -

Actually drank Bovril. Not sure that is quite 'bone broth' but it went down a treat and helped the headache. Much better now thanks ....3

Pickle juice is great for the electrolyte headache issues too! Remember that electrolytes are a daily issue, not once and done. Keep them in check to feel best!1

This. I keep thinking I won't need salt today, but then around noon I start to feel dizzy getting up. And then I take half a teaspoon in flavoured water.
Also, just FYI, sometimes salt also helps for cravings if you have them. I sometimes crave food even though I'm not psychically hungry, some salt water fixes that.1 -
I agree that salt definitely helps with cravings! I have found that when my sodium gets low and the dizziness/weakness starts to hit me, my first thought is I need to eat something! Retraining your brain to think I need to have some salt is important.0
