Will I gain weight without my thyroid medicine?

I don't have insurance anymore so I wont be able to get my thyroid medicine anymore, I was taking Levi-136, will this effect my weight? Will I gain weight if i'm off it?

    I have gained weight without my medication. The part I hate is that I haven't made any changes in my routines to gain it. Here is hoping you have different results.

    I am on Synthyroid , and it is very inexpensive.
