Pre-op 1000 calorie bariatric diet

Today is my first day on the pre-op 1000 calorie diet the bariatric program mandates I go on. I was doing well until the family got pizza for dinner. I had a slice. But, I figure tomorrow will be a better day. I only went over by 250 calories, so that isn't bad. I am so picky about what I eat, I don't what I am going to eat all the time.

    Hope your adjusting better to the Pre-op liquid diet.... The first day is tough but it does get easier.... I wish you much success in your journey....

    Pre Op for me is 5 weeks on Opti Fast shakes. Started this morning . Crossing my finfers

    Well What DID it consist of since this is an old post? Mine doesn't have a calorie restriction. But i am down 8.4 lbs

    My pre-op was liquids only the week before surgery and clear liquids the day before. It was brutal, but I didn't cheat and actually lost 7 pounds that week.
