Not too long before we overtake even Recipe Swappers. Fitbit users, I don't see happening though. Hah.

What is the big deal with the fitbit craze anyway?

I have a fitbit & even when I am not exercising it is a reminder to move - when it is 2 in the afternoon & I look down at my fitbit & see I have done only 832 steps then I know there is a problem. I have had two & the Samsung Galaxy2 watch also has the steps, heart rate, coffee & water tracking, distance walked etc. I like it the best but use my fitbit more because it is lighter. It also is a great feeling of accomplishment when you meet your step goal. I really like it. Fitbit also connects to MFP & automatically updates your exercise.

I've had a fitbit for 2 1/2 years and just love it! Best investment ever because it makes me walk 10,000 steps a day!

i LOVE my activity tracker. Mine is the Garmin vivosmart. Tracks my steps, calories burned, heart rate, sleep patterns and a lot more. Everything automatically shares to MFP. I've only been using mine since the beginning of this year but plan to use for a long long time.

Yeah, I picked up one of the new Blazes, and it does the same. Checked the built in HRM against both a feel test with a stopwatch, and an automated bloodpressure cuff. It's not quite dead on, but it's definitely close enough. As for the caloric burn: I'm spending the next few weeks experimenting with that. Since I'm at goal minimum weight, just started lifting again, and want a mild surplus, it's not like I'm worried about it making me fat, if it's reading too high.

Love my fitbit and I compete against my family and a few of my friends. That helps keep me motivated sometimes when I don't feel like doing anything. If I see they're getting close I'll "step it up" a notch, lol.
