I'm pretty new to the MFP world, and after a week of logging food without adjusting my choices (ya know, gathering experimental data. ) I've identified the changes I'll be implementing.
In terms of goal weight... that's a pretty open-ended number especially as I am a person with a high amount of muscle mass. I want to be my best self, whatever that may be.
I am superduper active; I work a physically demanding job full-time and I walk freaking everywhere. I'm also in love with yoga and pilates and dancing.
I've love to find a twin.

I'm 48 years old with a blended family of 5 kids, so we have a crazy schedule. I'm working on finding out what I *like* to do now, because I used to run and be a gym rat, but my family situation really doesn't lend itself to that.

I've done some long runs but have found that with slowing metabolism (I'm 56) that running alone wasn't getting the love handles off... so now I'm doing a fit class and religiously MFP'ing my stuff and it's working!

Nice to meet you too! Congrats on reaching 132. That's inspiring.
I have added a couple of strength training sessions per week as I train for the Tough Mudder in Sep. Love handles aren't my problem. It's all butt and thighs here.
I did a marathon last fall but not interested in doing any more of them. I stick to about 5 miles at a time because at my age (52) I want to keep using my knees!

I recently took up running, training to increase my speed. I've noticed great overall health benefits but no weight loss. I also do boxing classes and strength training as much as I can, which is not enough! I'm in school and work full time so I have to constantly remind myself to work out (it helps when I plug it into my schedule like a meeting haha) Anyway, nice to meet everyone!

I am turning 48 in October and have dropped from 132-103 since January 2015. I gained a little this past month hitting 110 and I am now working back down to 103-105 where I am most comfortable. I started running just before I turned 40 and haven't stopped since. I run 5 days a week, have hit a couple of 1/2 marathons, 10ks and of course 5ks but haven't raced in 3 years. Would like to try to race again this year.
