I'm so sorry!! I totally bombed last week and didn't post our workout. Could swear I did and that the computer gremlins came in and wiped it out...yeah, that's what happened.
Okay, we need some strength this week, so here you go. Lift heavy if you can.

We did this a while ago but it's still good...don't you think?

Chris I know we did something like it before. Could be the same. But it is good enough to do multiple times. And I need to work my shoulder! I did not even notice the dates!
To busy just trying to get on.
Thanks so much for all you do for us.

Oh, this is the one where the wrong end of me goes up in the air.
Paula0 -
Oh the picture that brings to mind! bwahahah!

Muahaha, Chris that Paula is a riot!
Worked on my shoulder today, lots. Darn thing is achy. Weeded in the gardens. Touched up all four brightly colored chairs after washing them. Then clear coated them in clear gloss. They look so cheery. Then added some more butterflies and a hummingbird to my patio. Rocky did Snippy and his friend the bird. They are roasting marshmallows over a fire. Looks very nice. Almost ready to seal the concrete. Just a few more little touches to go. Did I mention that Al ate the corals in his tank? The original one cost me $30.00, there were over 10 when they disappeared in the middle of the night. I know it was Al cause he was hiding the next morning, and picking at his teeth! Little stinker!I changed the little jaw fish's name to Percy. Not sure why, but it fits him!
Shelley0 -
Oh Percy sounds great. And Al needs solitary confinement!
Paula0 -
What Paula said!!
Shelley, I didn't know fish ate coral...please give me an "Al Eats Coral" lesson. What kind of fish is he? I like the name Percy.
Chris0 -
Glad you all like the name Percy!
Al is a copper band butterfly fish. Not sure what coral he will eat for sure yet. They apparently love dark red mushrooms though! Muahaha. I put in a cupping plate coral also. So far he has not touched it. It is larger than my hand and one of my favorites. Rocky bought it when it was no more than two inches in diameter. I wonder if Al likes anemone!
Angel fish often eat coral also. But tangs do not. So Fred will not eat them. I have a purple plate coral I would like to move into the large tank. But am a bit nervous. Darn thing cost me my birthday money from my mom. So could get time out in a frying pan if he ate it! Just kidding, I like fish more than the coral. And when I say he ate it, well cleaned his plate completely. I do still have one in the other tank.
:drinker:
And if you look up orange dendro you will see my favorite. Not putting it in the large tank ever maybe. Expensive and hard to find at times. Mine is getting huge. Has over 10 heads on it. Not a fish snack, nopey nope nope!
Later gators!
Shelley0 -
The orange dendro is kinda pretty!
Walked w/DH this morning for 5.0 miles in 95 mins (6.45 total miles for 14,038 steps) then got on the recumbent for 14.25 miles in 51 mins and some Ray Donovan then have lunch with friends for a b'day. We had Bean for a little bit while DDD and SIL went to the show had had some lunch. DDD said it might be their last chance. No grandbaby yet. A good Sunday!
Chris0 -
Once the baby is here things will change. But they will love them!
A new face to steal the spotlight. We were bums for Sunday. Got in another butterfly, yellow and orange, on the patio. Walked the boys. Did some weights and stretches.
The dendro looks awesome waving in the current. And puffs up whenever I feed them black worms!
Shelley0 -
Tennis practice this evening for 90 minutes. Fun, fun, fun...

Pretty, Paula!!
Walked yesterday and that was it. Ate what I'd planned but was up this morning. booo
Chris0 -
Guy,s I was sick all night Mon. With some kind of stomach bug, flu or something. Weighed myself and I had lost 3 lbs! Not a good way to lose, and of course a lot of it was water, etc. rested a lot yesterday, and drug myself into work to sign payroll but coiuld only handle 2 hours. Went home, took a 3 hrs nap and still tired. Hoping to be okay after a good night's sleep.0

Chris I am crying with you.
I hate when I just know it should be down and it is UP! What is with that? Here is a hug.
Paula thanks for putting that photo up. I love my Dendro. Looks like a flower all year around. Some day I will have to put up one of mine. I purchased it several years ago off of EBay. It was a tiny little thing. Now it is good sized.
So I have been exercising my shoulder. Must stretch daily.
Clara hope you are doing better.
Shelley0 -
Thanks, Shelley! The hug worked!
Hope your shoulder feels better.
Clara I hope you're getting better.
Okay...I walked Monday (7.52 total miles for 16,383 steps), Tuesday (6.49 total miles for 14,162 steps), and today (6.10 miles so far for 13,228 steps), got on the bike Monday for 14.25 miles and today for 14.50 miles, and worked out to Cathe's 55 min strength DVD today, and did another arm/back weights workout.
I think that catches me up. Eating has been good...weight ticked up the last two days. I did eat out for lunch Sunday and Monday. So much salt!

Feel better, Clara!0

Thanks guys, feeling better today. Still a bit tired, not my usual energetic self. So will go to work but will pace myself.0

Anyone up for a 21 DAY ARM CHALLENGE? It involves...bicep curls, upright rows, tricep kickbacks, overhead shoulder press, and bent-over flys. We would start with 8 reps each 3 times. There is a REST DAY every other day. The reps increase as the challenge continues. I will post it if anyone wants to play!
Chris0 -
Chris I am already doing most of that for my shoulder! I am in.
Shelley0 -
Okay!! Here we go...I mean, go to where I posted it!
Chris0 -
Walked w/DH this morning 5.10 miles in 100 mins (7.57 total miles for 16,421 steps) then got on the recumbent for 13.00 miles in 49 mins and an episode of Ray Donovan then did our 21 Day Arm Challenge plus the stretching challenge. Done!
Reading now.
Chris0 -
I did lots of stretching, some weights and a little cardio. Then soaked in the hot tub! Felt great! Did a 20 gallon water change also. All my fin friends are doing great.
Shelley0 -
Nice that Al hasn't eaten any of his friends lately, Shelley. Good news is nice.
Paula0 -
So has been a model citizen lately. I put an old 7 up bottle in his tank today. I thought they could use some bubbles.
We had a barbecue today. Went to the farmers market today. Got some corn and melons. And the old bottle, it was flattened! Much safer for my fishy friends!
Cleaned the house and baked some zuchinne bread. Took the boys for a walk and lifted some weights. Then did half an hour or so stretches. Time to rest!
Shelley0 -
Good job, Shelley! WOW!!
DDD in hospital working on having her baby. Today is her birthday. And I only got my walking done.
Chris0 -
Hope all goes well with the baby!0

Thanks Clara!
Ronan Nicholas was born today. He is 7lbs 3oz ... 20 inches long. Beautiful, pink skin, dark hair. Smiles, cries and passes gas. So tiny. It's hard to believe DDD was that little 32 years ago.
Walked w/DH and Bean this morning 5.10 miles in 131 mins (7.22 total miles for 15,759 steps) then got on the recumbent for 15.25 miles in 53 mins and an episode of Ray Donovan then did our 21 Day Arm Challenge because I didn't do it yesterday. I'm going to read now.

ChrisCONGRATULATIONS!
Love to you and yours...
Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child who is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonnie and blithe and good and gay.
