We finally got to take a hike and we really took a hike!!! 10 miles and my feel did not want to work today! :laugh: It felt so good to get out into the woods and just hike!! We are having company until Tuesday, but we already have another hike planned as soon as they leave! Maybe, I will make goal after all! 11 days left!!!

Aug 14 - 1.1 miles .....438 kms on my butt....drove into Edmonton
Aug 15 - 5.6 miles - 12318 steps (11/10) 438 kms home again....
Aug 16 - 3.1 miles
Aug 17 - 4.1 miles
Aug 18 - 3.2 miles travel to Edmonton again
Aug 19 - 4.6 miles steps are the Nazankowski Heart Center at the U of A. DSIL had an ablasion to repair her afib... lots of waiting so just walked around and looked at the scenery.
Aug 20 - 3.3 miles .... a few miles in the morning while waiting for her discharge and then managed to get some steps in chasing around grandchildren...
Week 3 - 25 miles (12/10) = 94.5 miles
Nice and cool here today, rained overnight to cool things down and settle the dust. Not sure what is on the agenda, supposed to be going to a potluck. don't know what I am taking !! I haven't been home long enough to think about it......

It has been a busy week for me. I have everything out of mom's house and while I was sorting and setting up for the garage sale I ran a mini garage sale and sold lots of stuff. Picked choke cherries and apples while I waited for people to come and pick up the things I advertised on Facebook.
Today is Blueberry Festival so I will be filling in at my favorite volunteer position as our little community of 750 blossoms to 3 - 4000 people.....there will be lots of steps again today!!!

I had a great day yesterday!! The students we hired to work at the museum this summer did a great job all summer and yesterday. I didn't make the miles I expected but that is okay. I am totally burnt out, need a rest a regroup day today!!
