Targets

I know we all have our own milestones we're interested in. My next few are close!
2lbs more and I've lost 3 stones!!!
Another 4 lbs after that and I break 100kg.
Another 4 lbs after that and I'm the lightest I remember being (probably about 10 years).
Long way to go to full target but that's some biggies there!!

I have a few goals, as you know I've been struggling so they all seem very far away at the moment!
Goal 1) 12lbs and I will be the back to the weight I've already lost twice since April
Goal 2) 10lbs after that and I will be the same weight as I was last Christmas
Goal 3) 12lbs after that and I will be the lightest I've weighed since 2010
I think that's enough goals or I will be defeated before I start!!3 -
I find it easier to achieve when I set targets. Hoe it works for you too.1

I like the target idea.
Goal 1) 6 pounds and I will be back at the weight I was 3 years ago
Goal 2) 11 more pounds and I will be 35-40 pounds from goal range!
Goal 3) 10 more pounds and I will be at my post-divorce weight without the stress!
Stopping here and as I check off a goal, I will add a goal.

Wow, I like how this has made me sit and really think about setting concrete goals.
1) 3 pounds by 8/19 and I will be back to me lowest weight since we began this group.
2) 10 pounds in 10 weeks. It's a good, realistic goal.
3) Start walking again, no less than 4x/wk.
I'm cheering for every one of you!!2 -

I started this journey at 247. I'm 225 last time I looked...let me set some milestones:
1) at 200 I should begin to fit all the clothes I bought in 2012 the last time I was under 200. It's a good time to start donating big stuff and trying on things.
2) at 185 I should fit every single thing in my closet EXCEPT for three items that I bought small on purpose. Everything I bought in 1993-1994, 1999, 2004-2006, 2009, and 2011-12 will fit. Those are the years I maintained 185.
3) at 165 I think I will fit those last three items, and be the smallest I have been since 1990. In 1990 I was in 9th grade and still growing, but passed through 165 along my way.
4) I believe I will go up and down in weight if I start aggressively lifting and training at this stage. I expect the scale number to wobble, but the clothing size to keep getting smaller.
I need some milestones to get me through the next 25 lbs, though. It's so hard to be consistent with workouts with so much inertia at this weight--both literal and figurative.2 -

GOAL 1 - achieved! I am now at 179 and holding steady. There is something about crossing those 10 pound numbers that is liberating for me. I am hanging in there on the clean eating - not 100% clean, but around 95%. It is challenging when the whole household is not eating clean, but they are all making adjustments that help.2 -
....as I check off a goal, I will add a goal (or update a goal).
Goal 1) 6 pounds and I will be back at the weight I was 3 years ago (179)
Goal 2) 11 more pounds and I will be 35-40 pounds from goal range (168)
Goal 3) 10 more pounds and I will be at my post-divorce weight (158)
Goal 4) 13 more pounds and I will be at the top of my healthy range (145)

Goal 5) 22 more pounds and I will be at my LIFETIME goal (140) This is the MOST I want to
weigh. The bottom of my healthy range is 129. Who knows? I haven't seen that
number since 1987.
