Serious Help... Crohn's and Keto

My wife is also doing this diet. It was actually her idea. She does have Crohn's. The first 2 weeks were okay. Now it is nonstop bathroom going. She is doing the bullet proof coffee in the mornings with butter and brain octane and sometimes coconut oil. She does take Humira. Is this diet not good for someone with Crohn's? Should she lay off the bulletproof coffee or only drink it every now and then?

Any help would be great, she's about to give up...

Has she always used the brain Octane from the beginning or is that new?

She did the diet for a few days before the brain octane came in the mail. She been using it for at least two weeks.

Also depends how much coconut oil she is using, it can be a bit intense at too high a dose (everyone is different).

Could be the mct that stuff killed me if I took to much. Could also be a gut flora thing that many have issue with in beginning but the say clears up after time

I'm still unsure if the symptoms started with the use of the Brain Octane.
It's known that it and any mct or coconut oil can cause that to happen and it's usually a good idea to start with a small amount. Like a teaspoon.

I agree. Easing into MCTs is probably a good idea. Starting with ethe teaspoon and working up to a few tablespoons over a few weeks is probably a safer bet.
