Have you ever noticed that we cannot change anyone? It's tough to change ourselves. When you try to change a bad habit, you cannot just stop doing the habit, rather, you must replace the bad habit with a substitute. We must create a new habit to fill the space of the bad habit.
The only person we should be trying to be better than, is the person we were yesterday.

So i got up and have done my 3 miles already. I still feel really nervous about work as it's the last day I'm working with my boss. I am going to go in and get me the largest diet pepsi to drink all day so I can deal with all the crap work she gives me and just smile through it all. I can do this. Kill them with kindness I always say. LOL3

I am determined to meet my -40# Christmas goal. I'm a little better than half-way there and I've realized I can't take it easy. I've got to crank things up from week-to-week and month-to-month. My body is telling me I can do this, it's willing & able. I will be in that red dress for Christmas!
I had one week with no loss and this week a .5# loss - I'm not too happy with that. 20# is a lot in three months. If you see me slacking off, please let me know!1 -

So true... My mom used to tell us wake up and yourself if you're happy and if not, change it. You can't change who you are but you can make changes that are for the better! I have a few cousins who could do with that advice, but like you said Rick, you can't change anyone.

Today, I was here at the farm all day. Planned to ride, but the intermittent rains interfered. Lots of chores got done.
Tonight, my 8 year old grandson Evan is with me. We'll be together all weekend. Tomorrow, we'll do some target practice with the notorious Red Ryder BB gun.
Exercise: ok

Friday 9/9
Exercise- Was on the trails for an hour and 50 minutes. Ran about an hour of that. Hamstring is really hurting, so will take it easy then next few days. No worries, will still get in some exercise!

track- Yes, so proud that I have been tracking and staying in my calories this month! I am replacing my bad habits (referencing Rick above) with checking in here, drinking lots of water and tracking consistently.
Sixteen weeks, huh? Good perspective. My goal is to lose an average of a pound a week... so I should be back to my target weight by the end of the year( I hope!!!).
