Things I need to work on this week.
Food options. There is a vending machine at the new job I need to take fruit to work.
Exercise!!!! New job is a sit down job I need to up the exercise
I'm just going to keep it simple and work on those 2 things this week to start.

Congrats on the new job. When I was at my previous job, I would always pack everything I was planning to eat from the time I left the house to when I got home (breakfast, morning tea, snacks, lunch, more snacks) so I could keep track of what I was eating and moderate myself. I also had a job desk job, but I would get up every hour or so and take the long way around to the restroom (pretty much a lap around the floor and then a lap back). I also made sure to take the stairs up and down when I had to move between floors. It wasn't a lot, but it helped keep me active.2

Congrats on the first week!
I'm back from the Blue Ridge Mountains, where I did not have reliable internet service at all (can't figure out how I kept my MFP streak -- my computer must have signed in when it could, even when I wasn't around).
Will have to fill in weekly goals/results a bit later today, but wanted to say hi to everyone.2 -
2020pinktogo - Congrats on completing the first week of training. I'm so happy that you are at a different job now. You were totally due for this!
lemurcat12 - Welcome back. Hope it was a totally enjoyable trip.
My weight gain of 1 pound this week belies the fact that I actually did pretty well. I'm sleeping much better and the food choices are pretty much okay. This week, I will be adding exercise back in. That should make the difference.
Wishing everyone a wonderful week.4 -
Start to this week was good. I joined a Star Wars challenge, so I'm added a bit of yoga into my dailies, which today's routine pointed out that I really needed to do some deep stretching. I had early losses of almost 2 pounds, which was great considering that I ate a pretty heavy meal Saturday (split over lunch and dinner, but still heavy).3

I had a funeral today, with lunch to follow at Cracker Barrel. Wish I could say I made the best choices, but baked chicken and dressing was calling to me. And a biscuit.
My weight is down from last week, so I need to keep up my activity level so I don't back slide! My son just got home with 3 weeks worth of laundry! I'll wash it all if he can get the lawnmower running and cut the grass!
Goals: Log all my food choices, good or bad.
Walk or bike 4 days this week.
Empty another box in my living room.1 -
last week I tried being aware of what I was eating and listing good and unhealthy choices but eating out fast food due to life schedule was my downfall. Lots of extended family obligations next two weeks ( lots of time in car and sitting thru their appts Soooo...
1. Carb counting this week.... Just so rebellious in logging... So simple carb counting.
2. Besides triathlon training, add daily thirty minute walk. (Forgot how stress relieving a evening walk is)
3. No vending machine or getting delivery at work
4. More sleep!

So guess who was a no show, and who got the lawnmower running? I worked harder than if I'd taken a bike ride, so I got my exercise in! Have to do the last side yard and cut the back tonight...
