The Pizza Craving

After yesterday's vodka disaster (dropped alcohol tolerance anyone??? ) I woke up with a pretty decent hangover. All day I have been craving pizza.... I hardly ever eat pizza, even before LCHF. Twice a year maybe? But today OMG all I wanted today was was pizza! So I satisfied my craving. 2 poppadoms, ham, tomato sauce, herbs and spices and some lovely cheese. Into the oven it went and two delicious small thin crust pizzas appeared, all for under 9 carbs. Pizza craving is gone. I am satisfied and happy.

Last night I tried a keto style white pizza. Four people who are pizza fanatics all loved it and couldn't believe how I made it.
Combination of several recipes.
3 eggs whisked with a splash of water
Half cup of ground almond
3 cups shredded mozzarella
Mixed in a bowl. Spread out on parchment paper on a pan.
Baked at 450 for 15 minutes. Slightly browned all over and crisp around the edges.
Then I took it out.
Spread some Alfredo sauce on it.
Added
Pepperoni
Smoked ham
Salami
Kolbassa
Cup of chopped mushrooms
Spread a bit more Alfredo sauce on the meat.
Sprinkled some basil and Italian seasoning on it.
Added
Half cup shredded Asiago cheese
Half cup shredded parmesan cheese
Three slices of cooked bacon, chopped up.
Baked for 10 more minutes at 450
Broiler on for about 5 minutes to brown up the cheese
Amazingly good.
1/3 of the pizza. 37 g protein, 42 g fat, 9 g carbs. About 550 calories.
Whole pizza was about 12"×7" or so. I cut it into 12 pieces.9 -
my sis always used to make pizza dip even before low carb. you put cream cheese on the bottom of a pie plate top with sauce, cheese and whatever toppings, microwave or bake until bubble. we used to eat with chips but you can just use a spoon lol0

I got the stuff to make a pizza type casserole in the slow cooker (ground beef, pepperoni, peppers, onions, mushrooms, sauce, seasonings, and cheese.
The pizza dip with cream cheese would be great with veggies or even pork rinds!1 -
I just buy regular pizza and eat the topping, leaving a triangular piece of crust. Works well for me.1

I have carbquick now so I'm off to look up pizza recipes! You guys have me craving it now. I love everything pizza.0
