This is for ME!

Hello ladies! I am starting month 2 of my 6 month journey to hopefully be approved for surgery at the end by the insurance company. I had my second visit with the dietitian and my mental health testing. The eating still needs a little improvement and the mental part went great. What resources did you use to find meal idea, recipes, to keep things interesting? I have a skinny taste cookbook and visit pinterest often.
Also, I am looking for insight on how to determine if someone is really going to be supportive in this long journey? I have a feeling I have someone in my life (aka the husband) that will without a doubt try to sabotage me or not consider me in eating plans. Example: we have a family member who is doing some fundraising and my husband asked me what flavor of the butter braids I liked. I said that when I had them I liked this, this, and this. So he replies "ok i will get this and this". I said not to order them for me because I can longer have them and he tells me to be quiet. Maybe I am over thinking it but it still bothers me. I really hope he will be supportive because he wanted to get this done not that long ago, which he needs to do. Plus I have friends that I have not told yet because I am unsure of what their reaction will be.

Hi, I just had my Bypass surgery on 9/20/2016. I am sorry that your husband is willing to buy tempting food items. You might just have to find ways around him such as only cook what he and kids eat.
I have chosen not to tell my frinds and family. My husband knows and he is supportive but also has his doubts about my ability to break my bad habbits in the long run. I don't regret doing the surgery at all.1
