I love my fitbit friends but most don't go over 8000 and I don't have a challenge anymore. Add me if you like a challenge and doing the challenges! //www.fitbit.com/user/38BPRJ

Also how do you get your steps in? Me, I take my dog Pyper for a walk twice a day and also walk to the gym .. as well as keeping busy around the house ... I'd love to hear some unique or fun ideas0

I work part time from home, so have plenty of time. I rarely sit down on my laptop and read the mfp threads, i grab my phone and read and walk. I have a huge yard with 2 double side gates, so i do 20 laps at a time all throughout the day, which equals to around 3500 steps each time, i also walk while i'm talking on the phone, and if it happens to be my mum on the other end, those walks can drag on and on I walk while I'm folding clothes, while the kettle is boiling. I find the furthest carpark when i go to the store, just little things that add up.
I've set my step goal to 15,000 steps, but try to get 20,000. It's been raining all week so have been struggling!!! I used to have loads of fitbit friends, and was always in some type of challenge, but they started taking over and sometimes i'd cancel my appointments because i'd fall too far behind.. So i deleted everyone, and have decided to just have a couple friends again now.1 -
Wow, thanks :)I am trying to add a lot more. My goal is 10k but I'm usually doing 11 or 12. Its difficult because I don't sleep much so I get really tired. I just started taking b12 shots. Hopefully it helps I've heard good things.1

My fitbit reminds me to get up everyone hour and move. When I was working, I would talk on the phone and walk around my desk and always used the furtherest restroom, parked at the other end of the parking lot, that kind of stuff. I also like to take a camera out and just walk around looking for wildlife or pretty flowers, etc. to photograph. I also have walking dvds and youtube videos for when the weather is bad. Don't forget to dance to your favorite music as well It all adds up by the end of the day.2

I am at 16k steps for the day right now. Most days I end up somewhere between 17 and 20k. I get at least 15k of those at work. Occasionally I get off the buss early and walk the last mile home and with weather getting cool again I may even walk the whole 3 miles a few times before winter sets in.1

I work nights in an office at a desk, lucky to get 6 hours of sleep so I'm usually tired. I use alot of previously posted tricks. Walk around the office, park farthest spot away, walk kids to school.1

I've been doing a lot of what's posted. I have epilepsy so I can't drive anyway which makes it easier. Sometimes when I'm in the house I find myself having to remind myself to move.. at times it's tough not to just sit around lol0

My Alta buzzes me if i have taken less than 250 steps in the last hour. This has definitely helped get more steps in, as i always do more than 250 steps when i get the reminders.1 -
Mine buzzes me as well. But before then it's tough sometimes. I'm alone most of the time as my fiancé works out of town... So I spend a lot of time by my self. I try and keep busy. Sometimes tho it don't work out lmao0
