Hoping for a sticky baby

TTC, have had two miscarriages in the last year, and just had a follow up with my OB. We are doing three cycles of progesterone starting CD 17 (regardless of if I have ovulated) and if not pregnant by January probably will try clomid. He thinks I have a luteal phase defect based on my spotting and short LP. I tend to ovulate late, after day 20, and really have not had trouble getting pregnant, just keep losing the babies. I do have one living child, a daughter 10 years old.
I started ketogenic diet in the hopes that I fix some of my insulin resistance, and I'm on metformin since after my first miscarriage.
I just wonder if I should be pushing for more testing, since I have never had any hormone testing, and OB diagnosed me with PCOS based on symptoms only. What other specific interventions could I expect if other hormone levels are off? I am 36 years old, so I feel like time is wasting away.

Hoping some others have a better idea. I didn't go through this...just secondary infertility without intervention. Best of luck for a sticky baby, as well as keeping whatever sanity you have left.0

Sanity. Yes, that would be a good thing.
Certainly feeling better eating Keto helps.1 -
Have your progesterone tested? Some take that and it helps with it not ending in a miscarriage0

I will be taking progesterone starting shortly after I ovulate. My progesterone dropped about 6 weeks into my last pregnancy, so they put me on supplements.0
