I have been successful with low carb before. I just started back again and I'm on day 3 today. I didn't get too far out of hand, I am looking to lose 12lbs. I would love to hear from y'all and see how much you lost the first couple weeks and months. Thanks!!!

Day 5-7 was hardest for me. I'm now on day 15 feeling normal, lost 9 pounds so far. I don't even FEEL like eating most of the time.2

Thanks so much!! Good job!! I'm down 1.2lbs right now but I've lost 10lbs without low carb in the last couple months. I know it will happen but seeing other people's results help keep me going.1

5 weeks, 14 pounds, zero cheats, no cravings5

Prior, I've lost 10lbs in 9 months on high carb/low fat "IIFYM style" eating. Constant thinking about when my next meal will be. Felt "full" after every meal, but never satisfied long. Afternoon "crash" every day, despite pushing all the "magical, energy producing, happy carbs" into my piehole all day long.
2 weeks of lower carb for me (100g net carb goal). Day 2 of strict keto goal (20g-30g net). I have lost 5lbs in these last 2 weeks. Zero cravings, no desire to snack between meals. I feel evenly energetic all day long (no carb crash).7 -
Day 15, down 7lbs and 3 or so inches off my waist.5

Four and a half months, 17 lbs. lost, so that's roughly a pound a week. No more carb cravings - yay! But even better is that my A1c went from 8.1 to 6.6 with no medication.7

I lost 25 pounds in 20 weeks. Went from a size 12/14 to a size 8
Have been maintaining for a year and now wear a size 6 even though I've lost no more weight.3 -
I lost 88lbs and 10oz (40.2kg) from Jan 4th 2015 to September 19th 2015. Sadly I gained weight again (I got pregnant, lost the baby, got pregnant again and baby is 12.5 weeks old now). So I went from 115kg to 74.8kg, got back up to 88kg (194lbs) by October 9th and I'm down to 82.6kg (182lbs) 6 days later.3

Lost 25 pounds in 45 days. Overall 30 pounds since June. Wasn't trying in beginning. Started seriously on August 22nd I think. You can do it.2

Starting in June 2015, I lost 20 pounds in 13 weeks without feeling hungry or deprived. That's a lot for me: 5 foot nothing, bird bones. My weight has only varied from goal three pounds (either way) since then. To my surprise, a chronic digestive condition I've been dealing with for almost 15 years has vastly improved. My gastroenterologist was very dubious about the low carb idea. Hey, who am I going to believe -- him or my own lying gut?2

Started off at 285. Went low calorie, under 2k per day. A year later I was at 266, constantly having cheat days, weeks, months. Weight yo-yo-ing 'up and down, always hungry.
Went on keto at the end of May, am now at 235 without a single hunger pain. Just got my blood work done, cholesterol is down 30 points from prior to keto. One point per pound of weight lost!6 -
12 weeks in...35 pounds gone forever!6

I went from 190 to below 150 in 5 months. About. Only the last couple of months had a loss of less than 10 lbs per month. I think I lost at about 11, 10, 10, 6 and 4-5 lbs per month. Approximately. No exercise then.4
-
I started on September 12th at 245. Today is October 15th and I'm at 228.6.
So in 33 days I've lost 16.4lbs.
I went from a size 22W to a comfortable size 20 already!6 -
258 in March. Started Keto in April. 213 today.4

Have you so little to lose in past experiences?0

That could be it. When I only had 10lbs to lose, those last 10 lbs, it took about 9 weeks.
Plus sometimes I lose slower, especially if I am not feeling well, tired or stressed. Could that be part of it?0 -
The first time I did LCD I was 250lbs and in a year and a half had lost 100lbs. Then I go up and down between 138lbs and 158lbs as I cheat and get back to basics etc... when I go off LCD I gain. This time I got back on track before I got too out of hand. As of right now I am 150.6 and I'm shooting for 1400

I started LCHF on Aug. 1. I use trendweight to track my loss, I am averaging 1 lb. per week eating this way. I only have 16 more to go to goal weight. Down 2 pants sizes as well. Doing slightly less exercise than I had been doing.
I had been bouncing up and down on the 40/30/30 eating plan I was using. Using LCHF, I have very little bouncing around. Takes about a week for anything to show up on the scale but it does now. And I don't think about food/eating all the time now. I can eat up to the 75 g. of carbs so only a few things from my past eating life are off the table. I concentrate on all the good things I can eat now, that I couldn't before (hello bacon, butter, and HWC) I am also doing IF only about 14 hr. daily fasting, but this so much easier than what I was doing before.
Eating this way has also helped my T2D husband get better averages, and he eats more carbs than I do, just not like he was before.
Win-win all around for both of us.3 -
I'm down 19 lbs since June 1, which is about a lb per week. At times I think I'm never going to see a loss, and then two lbs in two days. I'm happy I finally found a woe that works for me.2

My biggest issue is eating enough. I doing it but I'm not hungry and I have to just choke it down. I don't mind the food at all... I just feel like I'm eating thanksgiving dinner every time.0

I've been trying to lose my last 10 pounds for a year. Haven't lost a single pound but I did go down a whole pant size. You can lose fat without any scale weight loss too. Just keep that in mind.3
