Starting Over :(

Okay I recently returned from a vacation. I am pleased to say I only gained 2 pounds and did about 6-7 miles a day walking and only occasionally nibbled on a couple treats. I was quite proud of my accomplishment however I can't get back on track now. I'm finding I'm suffering from the keto flu, back to Mindless snacking but on good things. The dizziness and headaches have returned also. I've also been slacking on the tracking and can't get back to getting the ketostix to show I'm in ketosis. It was pretty easy before for me and was losing daily and almost up to 40 pounds
Any suggestions to get back on track? I'm still eating the
right things but I need to start fat burning and get again to get the scale moving. Thank you.

Try a fast
Just a 16 hour one might be enough to help.
Stop eating at dinner one night and don't eat again til 16 hours later. You'll sleep through a bunch of that.
You can have fatty coffee or tea or broth until it's time to eat. Should get the ketones going and then you have to stay on track from there.5 -
Sunny_Bunny_ Good advice, I am going to start over to just to clean up my act, too high carbs - found that link you posted in the other thread about 21 days helpful, I would repost it here but I don't know how

Some people are intolerant to the artificial sweeteners in diet soft drinks (usually aspartame which is just really toxic I would recommend to avoid anyways) and even water flavorings like Crystal Light/Mio/etc (which uses sucralose). Crystal Light has a product line called Pure where they use the natural sweetener Stevia which is okay.
I would say, only drink diet sodas and water flavorings that use ARTIFICIAL sweeteners if you KNOW it doesn't affect you or if you are willing to live with the affects. Ie: doesn't raise your BG levels and doesn't cause cravings for sweet or other foods. I love diet coke but I've given it up because the aspartame is so bad for you and also it makes me crave things like popcorn, candy, burgers, etc.0 -

If you can use stevia water enhancers like some Mio varietys or Spur or Zevia soda, that would be best. If you can't fast without having the other things, I'd do it anyway. I do think they are slightly counter productive weather you are actually aware or not but I think the benefit of fasting is still worth it. Just it's even better without aspartame and maltodextrin...1 -
