NSV makes up for a Gain

I was up 1.8 at my Thursday WI.
Friday I had routine Dr. apt to check vitals etc. My A1C was down to 5.2, Dr. reduced my diabetes Rx and said I may go off Type II diabetes meds completely at next check up in three months.
It made me realize all the health benefits I have derived in the past four years on WW.
In 2013 at 376# I was on Rx meds for high BP, cholesterol, Type II diabetes, my A1C was over 8 and I did no exercise.
Now I'm off Rx for cholesterol, greatly reduced BP and reduced BP Rx meds, reduced diabetes meds and now I exercise 4X a week and try to walk at least 10K steps daily.
Life is good; even though I'm not where I want to be weight wise but I'm getting there....slowly.
Just remember there are a lot of reasons to eat better, exercise and take care of yourself...your life depends on it!

You are truly inspiring, Jim--fantastic news! You are so right in your perspective. I try to look at what I do for weight loss as investing in myself rather than being deprived of all the quantities of food and beer I used to have.
I know you're working every day on meeting your goals; it's wonderful to get this MedNSV. No greater testimony to your commitment and diligence. I'm sure your family (especially the son who gave you the KITA) is really grateful too!1 -
