Now, I need your help! I am leaving on a jet plane and headed for San Diego. I will take an iPad with me, but I'm not a mobile device expert. During the last 3 months of leading the UAC, I have found it much easier to use a PC to work with the MFP system and to communicate privately with y'all.
I'm going to do my daily morning posts in advance. Please keep doing what you are doing so well. I'll sign in and give my report each day. I intend to be tracking; under my calorie limit and I love walking in San Diego.

I need this group. I need help with accountability. I didn't do to well last week. My problem is I keep getting bit by this lazy bug and it makes me not want to do anything. I did lose 1 lb last week. I started at 228 and now I am at 211.4 so I am proud of myself. I am trying to eat the right foods and I am trying to exercise at the gym at least 5 times a week but I only get there 2-3 times a week. Last week I am disappointed because I only made it 3 times. I am not trying to be hard on myself but I do know that without the proper exercise routine along with the right diet and exercise I can not only not get to the weight I need to be but also gain the weight back and then some. I don't want that to happen.

@tyshieha, one of the most important lessons you'll learn during this journey is to be kind to yourself!
Life happens. What's the saying - man plans & God laughs! Slow & steady will win this race. On those days you're not able to make it to the gym, don't sweat it! Walk in place for 20 minutes during your favorite tv show. Do 100 (or more) jumping jacks or squats or lunges, etc. Push-ups, sit-ups & walking/running work well!

I might only have been in this challenge a few days with with Rick away it kind of feels like we've been left home alone haha. Have a wonderful time!

Exercise: yes but it's turning a bit more like winter than autumn now. Still managed a beautiful walk for about an hour but it was just above freezing and very fresh!
Calories: yes but I'm not too happy with some of my choices today. Chocolate!

But I am way under budget and not really hungry. I weighed this morning and am happy.
I rode my bicycle up a big hill. Got like 1500 cal for the effort. Seen my old buddy Leonard up there. He is in good spirits and good health. Didn't see any wildlife otherwise.
Daylight savings going off, I still got up there at the break of dawn. So my climbing playlist of course starts with "Here Comes the Sun." Corny?
Little bit cold. 42 degrees. I think I am going to hunt down my face mask for subsequent climbs. Been wearing long pants. I might need another torso layer. Maybe just dry in the pack for descent. I think I might do it again tomorrow. I think I am going to take it easy and not really work on getting better times for a while.

Yes x 3 I am hoping for a miracle as the medication I take is on backorder til Dec. my pharmacist is going to call around and see if she can find it other wise I have to go with the other manufacturer and puke for a week. I wanted to say what choice do I have it's not like I can go without the medication all i can do is take it at night so I don't puke at work all day.0

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 30 minutes on Elliptical machine, 30 minutes Concept 2 rowing machine, 35 minutes walking on treadmill, and 90 minutes strength training.

Did well today even checked my ketones and blood sugar (not diabetic but following a ketogenic vegan way of eating) doing well.
Back at work tomorrow. Stress! Have to find a way to cope other than food;0

MFP is doing really strange things.
Saturday is a pass day.

Yes to all 3, but barely.
I ate terribly today nutrition wise but stayed under my calorie goal. My soccer game was rained out but I did about 6 loads of laundry, played pretty actively with my kiddo, and got a couple body weight exercises in.4 -
Funny you mentioned liking your PC for MFP @RangerRickL ...this is the first time I used my phone to reply to the message boards. I'm not feeling well and didn't want to have to get my laptop. I usually go on my phone for my news feed and on my laptop for the message boards.0

I feel so bad. I have to use pass day #2. I managed to exercise, but either my allergies are acting up or I'm getting a cold. My throat is sensitive. I wasn't able to log my dinner. I needed comfort food to help my throat (root beer float) and new I was going over calories. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow. Even if I don't and have to use my final pass and be out of the "winners circle," I'll definitely stay in the challenge for my own accountability. This is helping me!2

Day: November 6th
Exercise: Yes; 30 minute run, 37 minutes of strength training, and a gorgeous 57 minute hike that made my heart happy
Calories: Yes; for probably the first time in my life, I had no appetite today. I had to force myself to eat this evening to reach at least 1,000 calories. I should have had more because of the exercise that I performed today, but I wasn't going to push it. Odd day.

I just learned that my boss, a wonderful man that has been so good to me and has taught me so much, a true leader, our rock, has suddenly died of a heart attack, just today, on All Saints Sunday. He truly was a saint and loved by all. He was only 55 and a hard worker both in the office and at home where he was a gentleman farmer, raising cattle and riding horses. Somethings are so hard to bear...

Yes x 3. Went to gym to lift weights while son 1 warmed up for soccer game. Later, I rode exercise bike while son 2 warmed up. Saw both games- sweaty and cold, but happy cuz I worked out and saw the games.
