The brands which are on sale.
I bake with virgin coconut oil, and like the taste of it in my coffee too.
I use refined coconut oil to cook with. It doesn't have the coconut flavour so cooking eggs or my kids' chicken nuggets in it goes over better for those who aren't great coconut fans.3 -
I too buy whatever is on sale or priced best which always seems to be Trader Joe's. Locally they seem to stock only the virgin unrefined. I like coconut though.0

After two years of keto I don't buy it anymore. I used to use it in coffee and such but there is no noticeable benefit whether I use it or I don't, and I'm just not that fond of it to be honest. I just use butter now, and a little heavy cream.2

I do use coconut oil but only when I want coconut flavor or when baking and I need something with a lower melting point or a higher scorch point. Otherwise we use butter and/or cream.1 -

I like the "hidden" MCT. Carrington Farms Liquid Coconut Cooking Oil is essentially an MCT oil hiding in plain sight. I am looking forward to using it in homemade mayo, but right now I'm using it more as a supplement. I mainly stuck to LouAnna's for cost, and this is in the lower cost range, too. It really depends on whether you're using it for cooking or for adding to coffee or supplementing with, etc. The MCT/liquid forms should be tasteless, as should most refined forms. I've often said I wish I could like the flavor of coconut, but I just don't.0

I usually use 1 tablespoon in my BPC in am and now I started sautéing my veggies and eggs in it also. I prefer not to have the coconut taste so I use the refined. Is there a better brand to buy? when I go to store or look up on amazon there are so many to chose from......0
