I really like this image. There is nothing that anyone can do to put motivation into us. There is nothing that we can do to put motivation into someone else. There is a lot we can do to help each other stay honest and motivated in this UAC! Thanks for being on this team!

Hey Rick I love that Shirt you can get it on Shirt Woot. I am the mom and Auntie who goes for the absolutely crazy t-shirts. My daughter has every science t-shirt my nephew has every penguin shirt and then there gets the sillies like Zombie candy corn. It's a really cool site.
so today is election day and hubby and I went and voted. Some people are so nice and then you get the morning crabbies. So I drove LOL so in our house who ever drives gets to pick the parking spot etc. So of course I parked at the back of the lot. The lot is only 5 lanes it's not a supercenter but you would have thought it was the way "someone" complained. Then when we came out and everyone was zipping around but nobody was in that 5th lane hubby was you picked a good spot. I don't know why he doubts my parking abilities. Doubt many other things but not my parking. LOL
Have a great day!!!

I feel bad, but I'm going to have to use my Pass #3, so I'm out of the "Winners Circle". I am sick with a cold; it's not allergies. I haven't had a cold in ages (been pretty fortunate with that). I DO plan to do a 20-minute outdoor walk today, though. Just feeling like I need to take care of my body and load up on soup. I was naughty this morning and had one of my hubby's Nutty Bars, and it's as if my body craved it. Starve a fever, feed a cold. I don't plan to binge, but I think my body just needs the extra nourishment that I won't be able to burn off with limited exercise.
I DO plan on continuing this challenge to keep me accountable, even though I'm out of the running. This is definite motivation for me! Too bad I had to get sick and ruin part of it for myself.
Enjoy the day1 -
Pass 1 for me. And delicious it was too. I realised at mid day I wouldn't be able to claw it back and ended up 200 calories over. Could have been worse!1

FYI, tonight will be pass #2. On pins & needles & full of red wine, brie & other yummy treats.
Be well!1 -

NSV - Eating out is alway hard for me. After two days of mourning the loss of my boss, attending a visitation and then a burial service far out in the country from the office, my co-workers and I stopped at a small southern town barbecue joint. I was hungry and emotional; I was in a wondering how I could possibly manage, but I did it! I opted for a baked potato skin filled with smoked chicken and the yummy toppings on the side. I fit in, didn't make a fuss, maintained control all while enjoying the company.

@fitqueenbess Hi Bess, you are our champion!
I'm in San Diego, and I learned a lot of new concepts for estate and retirement planning with insurance and investments. It sounds boring, but it's very important for my many clients.
I fly back to Chicago in the morning. When I use a PC, I have more and easier access to communicate with the UAC
My report for today is: calories: ok, tracking ok, and exercise was 47 minutes of very brisk walking in the Gas Lamp area.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes - 60 min spin class in am, 15 min walk on my lunch break; 15 min day 1 of 30 day kettlebell challenge - 90 swings, 60 shoulder presses; day 2 of 28 day yoga challenge - 20 mins.

Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
Feeling like I need to increase my exercise to see some results before the dreaded holidays so I added a couple challenges to complete in the evenings after work; yoga and kettlebell. I've been a bit low on my calories, so I think I need to increase around 100-200 calories per day to get back up in the 1300-1400 range for muscle growth. Might add hemp seed to my oatmeal in the am, but have to watch the fat content.2 -
I'm going to use a pass day today. It was election day, totally stressful and anxious and I went way over cals... But, considering it a refeed day. I did at least run for an hour.0
