Starting the Process

Hello Everyone,
I am in the process of doing the Gastric Sleeve. I admit I am a bit nervous, but part of me is very excited. I have never been slim. I have lost weight, but never kept it off. It is hard when you know someone who has and you feel you have failed.
I have read many comments about "buyers remorse" to have it change into the best thing ever. Can I get your experiences?
Thanks so much for being here.
Sharon

I started out on August 25, 2016 at 307 lbs. I am now between 144 - 147 lbs. I am healthier and happier than I have EVER been in my life.
Is it easy? No. Are there struggles in the beginning that made me cry? Absolutely. Is there anything I have not been able to negotiate? Nope.
I would go back and do it again in a heartbeat. I wish I had known about it even five years sooner.
Good luck!1 -

I have had my struggles. Still struggling to get enough calories in. It has not been easy, but there is very little in life that is easy. Especially loosing weight. Was it worth it? EVERYDAY! I would do it again in a heart beat! Agree with Nicole wish I had done it a long time ago.0 -

You lost that much since this August? That seems way faster than anyone else I've talked to. I'm hoping to lose 100 lbs, but I will be happy if I can do it in 12-18 months. My HW was 280, I'm 264 now, hoping for surgery in February.0 -
I just saw another post where you said you were sleeved in 2015. That makes way more sense!1
