One of the perks of the new job is I get to have pretty nails so I did them this morning. I am definitely an old fogy when it comes to polish. I just can't do the neon and blues and greens. I like all my nails one color the girl next to me had every nail a different color. I thought really I would be like what a bother to open up all those bottles. well time for me to exercise. Hope everyone is having a great day.3

Oops no winner's circle. Today was delicious but I went over my calories. I'll keep posting though to try and keep on the right track from tomorrow.

Rich, but I ain't so rich I won't take a job cleaning a stable now and then. Before I digress.

Bad exercise, unless you count going to Walmart or doing dishes. Heh, I didn't think so.
But hey, I made up for it today. Climbing for like 2300 feet. Calories from Mr Garmin 1550. That nearly doubles what I can eat. Careful now. Those are measured calories.
It was kind of cold. The creek is starting to freeze. There are getting to be little icicle like ice structures by where water cascades. Hands were cold for a while. I think I might get some hand warmers at Walmart.
Who did I see? Oh, Mrs Deer. I hate to say it but she is habituated to me. She will look me straight in the eye as I approach her to within 20 feet or so. Then she just ambles down the bank a little bit. I didn't see her two friends. I fear the worst for them.
I seen a couple of trail runners. These two, the man was wearing running shorts. Yeah, you know the kind I mean. He wasn't too far from breaking out into the sunshine but he was coming up through the "tunnel." He was definitely a shade of blue. His wife or spouse was dressed right. I seen these guys right at the start of the 13%. They were going up. I was coming down.
Today I climbed that stretch at 3.7 mph. I wonder what those guys were doing. I almost wanted to turn around and pace them for a few hundred yards. They weren't really running right there. I think their pace could be described as strong walk. Heh, 13% is the great equalizer. I bet those two were out for a fifteen mile jaunt.
Wearing my windbreaker but it is still kind of a cold descent. I stop in the sun plenty.
Get to the bottom, putting my bike on the roof, I see a guy coming up on a brand new mountain bike. He gots all new spandex clothes too. But I think his timing is better than mine. He is going in when it is warm. I am coming out. I think I am going to give up on my crack of dawn idea.
But it is going to snow tomorrow, so minimal exercise, I have to be careful. But on Wednesday My wife and I are going to go ski on that snow. That counts as exercise in my book.

@bocasdelbob & @RangerRickL - Beautiful pictures! I totally consider Walmart shopping a workout. It exhausts me! Same to @am_change - walking with Mother-in-law is still a walk... I'm just saying. As for me:
Exercise: Yes - 1200 meters (40ish minutes) swimming*
Tracking: Yes (but I had a bunch leftover. I went over it twice, but did I miss something?)
Calories: Yes, too good maybe.

Hello again!
The Cowboy Gathering has the same feel as a giant family reunion. I have been going night and day since I left Chicago after 3.5 hours of sleep last Thursday night.
Friday & Saturday are Pass days. That kills the Winner's Circle because Thanksgiving will be Pass Day 4
Today, I met my goals.
Exercise: enough walking to qualify

Today was rough! I nursed a hangover all day. But I still somehow managed to get a walk in and played with my son for a bit.
I tracked every bite and stayed under my goal. Wasn't too hard since I didn't have much of an appetite... whoopsies1 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes...I raked leaves for an hour in my yard. I had my yard all raked, but the big winds came last week and more leaves from the neighbor's tree fell down in our yard. I should be done with the raking for the year now.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes, I actually did!
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yup!
