Okay so we all decorated Christmas cookies. The good news, I didn't eat any icing. The bad news is I ate two sugar cookies. Small but I swore I was not going to do this. They were totally homemade. Wife is a scratch made cooking person. So what is the damage done? Do I fast to get back on track? Is it just the type of deal you put behind you and keep ketoing on?

Thanks.

I'm baking cookies for my school tomorrow, I feel your pain. :( I have a plan.. I'm going to drink water the entire time and eat lchf food so I am full. Tonight I went out to eat with my family and it was so tempting not to eat the chips (Mexican restaurant) so I kept drinking my water and it helped. It is tough but we got this. :)

We took the kids to a Japanese restaurant last night. You know the chefs cook in front of you. The kids loved it. Me and the wife had steak and shrimp and triple veggies. I had two bites of rice, no noodles. Still bet they used canola oil and other oils. Then Christmas cookies today. Just two small ones, no icing. Okay, back on track tomorrow...

The holidays are a tough time, especially when you have family traditions that revolve around food. Do your best, and get right back on track as quickly as possible if you slip up.

I'm counting on y'all to give me this same pep talk when I fall off the wagon, too, 'cause I know it's gonna happen! ;)

I get to make a lot of Christmas goodies soon. Yay... :frowning: But I'm making something for myself. So it's all good. Plus, I always have dark chocolate around if smelling and handling all that sugar gets too hard.
