Blast from the past last night. I'll blame our WW leader who didn't drive in due to bad weather. My partner and I usually go out to eat after WW so no meeting meant we could do it sooner and get home quicker (before the next storm wave was scheduled to hit).
We went to one of our favorite local bar and grills. I ordered one of their burgers (which are hand-made), with fries, and had a pint of Southern Tier Brewery's Old Man Winter. Usually I only have half the burger bun (good in its own right) but last night I ate the whole thing. Polished off the fries with no problem too. I was just ready to switch to water when the waitress came over with a fresh pint, on the house. Who was I to turn that down??
Well, that meal was a good reminder of how much I used to eat and drink all the time. I must say I wasn't completely stuffed or uncomfortable afterward but it was certainly noticeable that it was now an unusual amount of intake. It's probably the first time in a couple years that I've had that much at one sitting. Wow, hard to believe I used to do that 2-3 times a week!
The day tracked out to 56 SPs since I'd eaten pretty conservatively the rest of the day. I'm not at all worried about it. I've been clearing snow off the roof for hours each of the last several days; I even got time in for a snowshoe in the woods before our meeting yesterday. The meal was a good 'experiment'; one that I'm not really eager to repeat anytime soon but a good eye-opener nontheless...

Ahhh yes, the "Good old Days" LoL
Last week I ate a bag of candy treats I got at a Xmas party. Then I ate a large cheap chocolate bar I bought at the dollar store!
Today my WI was -3.8# WTF?
I think my body went into shock mode!
I guess the one day of straying off the path didn't do any lasting harm?0 -
Love Southern Tier and haven't seen them on the shelves here for awhile.0

@podkey , if you ride your bike out here, STB is practically in my back yard! They are certainly a great example of small business done good. Their growth is really unbelievable!
