Here we go with another week down. Hope you did well. I have been thinking about the new year and another challenge. Is that something you would be interested in? A new year and a new you, drop 20 challenge. Let me know because I know I will still have weight to drop

Yes! I liked participating in your challenge as it's very well organized. My ultimate goal weight is actually 150 but i'd still join in and participate. I love your spreadsheets and i'm excel challenged haha

I am back to where I was in week 3. Happy that it was a lose not a gain. I am a bit concerned about the mini holiday, because my honey and I are going to Levenworth, Wa to celebrate our anniversary. Hopefully I do not over eat. I am very pleased with my weight loss progress so far. I am rooting for the New Years New You group!!

Loss of 1 lb this week which is great considering all the stress I was under last week and unable to exercise due to an awful migraine! I'm just 1.6 lbs from my goal for the New Year! It also happens to be my 50 lb loss goal since my starting point!

    SW: 237.6
    CGW: 222.6
    W1: 234.4
    W2: 232
    W3: 227.6 (added exercise)
    W4: 230.4 (added DDP Yoga 6x a week)
    W5: 227.6 (mini whoosh?)
    W6: 224.2 (mid Shark Week - weeeeeeee)

    W6 loss: -3.4 lbs!

    Total Challenge Loss: -13.4 lbs
    Total MF loss: -27 lbs

I hit a milestone this week by passing the 10% body weight loss from my MFP highest weight. I'm 10.7% down from my highest point and very happy with my progress so far. Each week seems to add new challenges to overcome. This week was Shark Week, but I had a great loss despite that.

Looks like I'm 1.6 lbs from the challenge goal. I think I can do it! :) Here's to kicking butt for another week!

And yeah I'm in for more challenges. :) As long as you want to run them.

    Great job everyone!

I binged on junk food this past weekend and not terribly happy with myself. I have trouble not going overboard when I indulge. Any tips?

If you know your going to have a trigger food in your home immediately make single servings of it when you buy it. On each serving bag, write the calories and how long of a walk it will take to burn them off. Reading that might be an eye opener and help you resist the binge.

Yes please! I have enjoyed this challenge....down 11 lbs on this one and very happy with that. Hopefully I'll be able to keep it up over Christmas.
Definitely in for a NY challenge.

Up .8 pounds. :/ I tend to be a stress eater. The week before Christmas break in an elementary classroom equals stress. Plus, there has been a full moon. Yikes! Seriously, if anyone has a tip on how to lessen stress related eating, I could use a little motivation.

I just replaced my stress eating with exercise or using yoga to relax and lessen stress/anxiety.

Always have a water bottle around instead of snacks. Infuse the water with fruits and or veggies. When you feel stress drink up and it will help curb that stress eating. Another thing you can do is focus on your breathing, when we are stressed out breathing becomes rapid, inhale for count of 5, hold for 3, exhale for 7. Inhale positive, exhale negative.
