Celebrating a major NSV!!

We have annual labs/BMI/BP/body fat checks at work, and I'm so happy to report for the first time I don't have to go see the employee health nurse quarterly for check ins! Woohoo! My labs have also improved since last year. I started this WOE at the end of March/early April 2016 and have lost just over 40 pounds, feel so much better, and finally have a total cholesterol under 200 for the first time in my adult life (despite eating lots of bacon, eggs, and cheese!).
Lipid panel from 12/2015
Total cholesterol: 223
LDL: 108
HDL: 95
Trigs: 98
Lipid panel from 12/2016
Total: 198!!
LDL: 73
HDL: 110!!
Trigs: 73
This was just the encouragement I needed right before the Christmas holiday to get myself back on track as I have admittedly not been eating perfectly all the time over the past few weeks. Despite my few indulgences, I've still seen an overall improvement which is great!
I'm so thankful for this group. Although I don't post much, I'm an active lurker reading all of ya'll's encouraging posts.
Keep up the good work through the holidays and into the new year everyone!
