I make resolutions, some I achieve and some I don't so this year I really have put a lot of thought and consideration into them.

1. Hike a 14er -- a mountain over 14,000 feet elevation. I have done one a couple years ago and it kicked my butt.
2. Take a ski lesson. My family all skis/snowboards and I would like to join them.
3. Go snowshoeing.
4. Spend less time online and more time reading.
5. Focus on the positive more.
6. Pay off credit card debt.

What are yours?

    @cessi0909 , wow! 14k is so high! Now that I live in Illinois where our elevation is 869 ft, I have a hard time when I go visit family in Utah at about 4900 ft. You definitely need to take a ski lesson...you'll have so much fun! We don't get enough snow here to go snowshoeing, but I am right there with ya on the rest of your list! I'd also like to lose this weight and KEEP IT OFF! I am so sick of the losing/gaining cycle.

    All of my resolutions are focused on my riding.
    1. Do at least three schooling shows and one rated show.
    2. Get all three of my horses cantering 20m circles on both leads in balance.
    3. Get to and stay at a normal BMI.
    4. Do at least one unassisted bodyweight pull up.
    5. Sit Schoolmaster's medium trot and sit it WELL.

    I don't usually make resolutions, but this year my resolution is to love my body the way it is and don't think negatively towards my body.

    I've been thinking about resolutions and here's what I came up with for 2017.
    1. Be grateful each day. Journal and meditation.
    2. Develop Legend and Kozi further with a goal of at least 3 rides a week. I was given a Jane Savoie dressage training program for Christmas!
    3. Develop my watercolor painting skills further through weekly class and workshops.
    4. Simplify by cleaning house and barn out of unneeded stuff.
    5. Focus on family, friends and relationships.

    My resolutions are:
    1. Increase my physical fitness so I can achieve a true independent seat and sit the trot.
    2. Continue to work toward Sunny and my training goal of first level.
    3. Show successfully through Training 3 by the end of the year.
    4. Stop worrying about things I cannot control!

    @luckypony71 I wish I had a real beach closer so I could incorporate #3 into my life :)

    My resolutions:
    1. Be more forgiving/tolerant of other peoples mistakes;
    2. let go of past issues with people who live to create drama;
    3. Run more;
    4. be happy with any progress in my riding and not compare my journey to any one else;
    5. Use my work vacation time;

    The beach is a 10 minute drive, but I only went 2 or 3 times in 2016. :(

    You really do need to use that vacation time though. Even without a beach nearby

    the beach would be amazing!
    @showjumper , your number 4 should be my number 1. I've struggled with that for years. :/
