I wanted an image to show 'Winner in the Snow". In the month of December, over 20 people joined the UAC, but only one valiant, disciplined, member made it into the coveted Winner's Circle. That member is a wonderful woman in Buffalo, NY whose MFP screen name is @2020pinktogo
We are all proud of her and respect her! Hurrah for you!
BTW: the best image I could find was a snow globe winner to symbolize @2020pinktogo in snowy Buffalo, NY.

Happy New Year! We had a wonderful Christmas but I will glad to be back in a comfortable, positive routine. Here are a couple shots from Mt Hood, where we were able to hit a couple of bluebird ski days while spending the Christmas holidays with my brother and family.

Hooray January is here and I ate the last cookie for breakfast. I figured why let it stare at me all day just be done with the darn thing. Today I am going over to my parents they need some assistance with the computer. Lol It was working when I left yesterday . Oh well I will go check it out. Til later5

Exercise: yes. Started the day with as much of a Pilates DVD as my ten month old baby would let me do before she'd had enough of crawling around and climbing on me as I did it which was exactly the half hour mark. Then went and met family at a lido in South London and swam lengths of the pool for half an hour. It was heated so not as brave as it sounds! There was steam above the pool as you swam. Worst bit was getting out to get changed! Nice start to the year though.

I'm growing fonder of New Years day as the years go by. It takes a bit of planning for me to fit in the some exercise everyday of the work week! Having this three day weekend is the best! I'm making the most of it by getting meals and clothing ready. (I'm not usually so organized!) I've had my black eyed peas and I feel prepared to take on 2017, one day a a time.

I didn't eat much, but what I did eat wasn't very healthy, so that is something that I will have to watch tomorrow. It is also a goal of mine to increase my cardio, so I plan on doing more tomorrow, since the gym will be open longer. Overall, I had a great day to begin the new year3 -
