Supplements to reduce inflammation?

Options
I was just diagnosed in September and have been on Synthroid and Cytomel since then. My numbers at the doctor today were T4: 1.17, T3: 2.4, TSH: .69, TPO: 1788. Every number has improved except the TPO, it's up from 1500. My doc has me on several supplements and now wants me to start taking turmeric supplements to help with inflammation and get a thyroid ultrasound. I'm new at this, anyone else taken turmeric before? Did it help?

It helps loads :) I had a herniated disc and had to take some meds for inflammation. I chose to go natural and do the turmeric instead.
I did it like a paste .. its called the golden paste .. turmeric honey black pepper and i would just down it .. it's hard .. but when u get used to it .. it becomes easier
if you are planning to take supplements make sure the turmeric supplement has black pepper in it for absorption to ur body.
Good luck and be healthy :)
