    Hi everyone!

I'm looking forward to kicking butt this month! No holidays that will ruin what I eat! :D
@DanceDiva234: Thank you for making a January group!

    SW (Jan 4th): 129.6 lbs.
    Jan 08: 129.0 lbs.

    GW (Jan 31st): 120 lbs.

We learn something even on the bad days / weeks. All of it moves us forward even if we can't see it yet. We "will" get there!

Hi everyone, I just joined this group. I always seem to be 2-5 kg above where I want to be at the top end of the healthy BMI range. I feel comfortable when I am under 60kg (I'm 5 foot 3 inches). Last year I put on a few kilograms and I am over 60kg. My goal is to get under and stay under 60kg. I'll be weighing in every Thursday.
    Dec 29 - 64kg
    Jan 5 - 62.1
    Jan 10 - 61.5

@DanceDiva234 Finally! :#:) Thanks a lot for creating this one I thought nobody was intersted this month.

This month just like others will be complicated, I just can't wait for the exams to finish, but I'm still in the challenge and I wont have specific days for weighing myself.
December was a disaster in maintaining or losing weight, so basically I gained so much weigh in just a short amount of time, It might be just water retention, Idk, I feel 5kg (11lbs) in a month is a lot! But I feel slightly bigger than before.

    Height:162cm (5ft 3.5in)
Goal: Lose body fat and to be lean; 50-52kg (110-115lbs)

    05/01: 59kg (130.1lbs)
    09/01: 56.7kg (125.0lbs)

Well, 6oz is not a huge improvement but even a small amount is a win!

I think quite a few people have gained (much more then we thought we would) during December (and late November). Many things occur during these months and it's not all just the awesome holiday food we are surrounded with. It can be overwhelming.

*sings* January is here though! Less temptation this month. I believe "we" can do this!

    January 2017:
    SW (Jan 1st): 127.6 lbs.
    Jan 07: 127.0 lbs.

    GW (Jan 31st): 120 lbs.

We learn something even on the bad days / weeks. All of it moves us forward even if we can't see it yet. We "will" get there!

    You can do it!

The good thing is that you're documenting your weight honestly, seeing your pattern, and not pretending that you don't see weight gain or a plateau. This way, you are not letting things get too out of control...imagine if you weren't paying attention at all!

Yeah, I'm a firm believer in logging it as it is. The only one you do a disservice to by not logging correctly is yourself. Thank you for recognizing my efforts! I appreciate your words of insight and encouragement!

This is an amazing group! Gutted I have only just found it.

Can I ask if you think it will be carried on into February?

Fab way to start the year!

Amazing! This is ideal as I am wanting to shed a few more pounds but want to do it at a healthy and sustainable rate.

Also, to anybody who may be able to help. I have lost just over half a stone and want to lose about 5 more pounds. Should I stick with the 1200 calorie until I hit my goal or should I start trying to figure out my maintenance?

At the moment my goals are set to lose 2lbs a week...

    Tuesday Weigh-ins:
    Jan 17: 172.8
    Jan 24: 170.6
    Jan 31:

    GW for January 31: 168

Loss of 2.6 pounds since last weigh-in. I suspect it's mostly water, but it's the lowest I've been for a few weeks and I'll take what I can get!

It's at least motivating me to stay on course.

I'm brand new to the group, just started today. I'd like to make friends with similar goals. Please add me if you are in the same boat. I'm at 142lbs, would love to lose 15. After tracking my food and exercise I noticed I'm way over the recommended caloric goals to lose weight. Looks like I'll need to be much better at watching what I eat- and I thought I was doing pretty well. Now I see why the scale isn't budging.

I don't know how to add anyone. Can someone please tell me how it's done?

I usually click on the photo or image above the name of the person, a window pops up, then I click on the name. The next window that pops up has the friend request button in it. I hope this helps. :)
