Salty low carb dill pickles, yes. Sweet pickles such as bread and butter pickles, not really. Sweet may be ok if your low carb versus keto.1

Including the one cited as Ref. #1 in the first article you mentioned, which links to an item on Rehydration by Pickle Juice using 2 types of Vlasic PJ - from whole pickles (high sodium) and sliced (very high sodium).
