New to the group!

Hello, my name is Trista. I've been with MFP since May, and after doing some reading, decided to switch from counting calories to tracking macros. Started January 1st. So I'm somewhat of a newbie. In all actuality, only a newbie to applying it to myself. Realized I've been doing a form of it at work for years. I work in patient nutrition services at a hospital and take patient meal orders. For diabetics, I have to be mindful of carbs. For cardiac patients, it's salt. For low fat, they can only have so much fat per meal and so on. But anyway, it's working pretty well for me so far, and am happy I came across this group!

    Hi Trista. Unfortunately, it looks like this group isn't very active. There is a Facebook group, IIFYM Women, that is very active on the other hand. You'll find lots of support there.
