I tried to start this thread in the fitness section, but didn't go anywhere. Maybe it will have more results here. It's like the title says post some of your favorite pictures taken while hiking.

These are both from my Wonderland Trail (93 miles around the base of Mt. Rainier in Washington) backpacking trip. The one with me in it is the last day of 10 days on the trail.2 -
@Kasaz Those are some great pictures. Was the entire trail snow free or low snow (or below snow line... however you want to describe it) when you went?0

Midwesterner - The trail would have been entirely free of snow except that we had a couple of days of wild/cold weather early in September and we did get a couple of inches of snow. Washington had pretty much no snow last year, so there was much less snow everywhere than what is normal. The elevation never gets above about 6800 feet.0

Pics taken from this weekend's hike:
Spider eggs discovered.
Caterpillar
My bivy with sunset in the background.
Me with some inedible berries next to me and sun shining bright in my eyes. The orange is because this forest is a public hunting area and this weekend had a couple of deer seasons (archery and early muzzle-loader).
*I also found a poached deer with antlers cut off and the rest left to waste. That is so upsetting.

Just a few from a quick hike up a mountain a few days ago. The fog was really thick at the base and was beautiful In the sun! ❤️1 -
I hope the photos turn out. This is one of my favorite hikes in the Superstitions in AZ. It's called Flatiron. It's only about 3 1/2 miles one way, but with 2800 feet elevation gain mostly in the 2nd half and some scrambling. The other photo is the gals I hiked it with. I think I have on a purple fleece.

GREETINGS!
New member to this group. Here's a few from this weekend from the Appalachian Trail 2016 Kick-off event at the the Southern Approach trail near Springer Mountain and Amicalola Falls.
I am in NW Georgia but if anyone wants to add me on MFP, that would be great. I would like to connect with more hikers/backpackers on here. Thanks for looking!
Post-hike beer.

Yesterday three good friends and I hiked Flatiron in the Superstitions just east of Phoenix. It's one of our favorite day hikes. More of a scramble than a hike in some areas.3 -

Wow! All these photos are amazing!
I've been taking a lot recently in my travels. instagram.com/chadieray0 -

From Sunday. Did a road walk along the Mountain Loop Highway with some friends. We took turns breaking trail for an hour, and then some snomos came by and flattened the pow down for us.

I did a one night backpack in the Superstitions over Saturday night. I am the one in the pink shirt and purple hat. It was beautiful weather and the desert is very green this year.
I added a photo of my new puppy, Otis, who is a five month old Cocker Spaniel. He is not a hiking buddy, just a walking buddy.1
