I did clean eating all of January (no gluten/dairy/red meat/added sugar) and have NEVER had such an easy time dropping weight and not being miserable doing it. The biggest challenge is alcohol--I love a good cocktail or glass of red wine!4 -

I had no weight loss this week (weekend weigh in) but not beating myself up too much as I worked at 6 times this week including three pre work gym sessions, quite proud of myself
Had some pretty damn tasty naughty food this week which was worth not losing for!
Bit late updating but lost 2lb this weekend
Managed to keep up my morning work outs even though it was manic deadline week plus three classes in the evenings. Played badminton with friends but that turned into a giggle/gossiping session!!5 -

I haven't been checking in because, honestly, I forgot! But my current weight is 130.2. I guess i'm halfway to my goal and we're a little over halfway through the month. I do believe I'm going to make that goal!!

Hey everybody,
I happy to report a tiny loss. It makes me very happy because this week was a triple whammy and yet I did ok! Yay!
I'm happy to see so many people making progress!
To those of you losing slower then you had hoped, it's all good! Simply maintaining is a win some weeks.
To those still struggling to lose an ounce. I'm positive that you are learning from it and will make improvements on your weight loss strategy! You got this!

Hmmmmm. I am thinking that 5lbs was ambitious for this short month for me. However, I am proud to be losing the appropriate 1 lb/ week and not plateauing and certainly not gaining which I usually would have based on my behaviors when I get around friends and family for the weekend. Let's see if I can bust into high gear and REALLY make this last week count! Rahrahrah and all that jazz!5 -

Lost 3 this past week, but since it was my first week logging and maybe some water weight/slightly different times weighing, I'm not concerned that it's too much too fast! Aiming for .5 lb or 1 lb this week.3 -
Well, it's almost the end. I didn't meet my goal. Never-the-less, I am happy. At least I'm coming out even after a really bad beginning!

Hello Everyone, I hope you had a great weekend. Last week with was a disaster and unhealthy, because or I didn't have time to eat or I'd forget to eat and whenever I ate mostly it was those quick unhealthy foods. Also I couldn't workout those days knowing that I didn't feed well my body, the only workout I did was Saturday, which I'm still proud of.
I decided to do my check-in today because I'll be following a 5 day working out challenge and I'm expecting to be eating healthier.

High gear was a success!!! I am pretty sure that this # is a blip but as it's a blip in the right direction, I am pleased as punch! Hella hard work. Way to go everyone. Checking in is a success in itself...See you all next month I hope.1 -
I went through a huge transformation this last month. After a lot of struggling, binging, and frustration, I decided I needed to stop the hard diet I had been sticking to for 4 straight months. I lost 12lbs and then gained back 2, and I'm not weighing in until mid-March for my sanity! I'm going to do a 6 week cycle of maintaining my weight, restarting weight lifting and strength, cutting back on cardio, and learning to balance my macros.
After the 6 weeks is up, starting April 9th I'll start a new 4-6 week period of cutting with focus on macros and calories.
My favorite research resource was Jen Heward's YouTube videos and I encourage you to take a look, she's a nutritionist and takes a realistic look at changing the female body.
It's important for us all to remember that our bodies get used to the same routine, so in order to not mess that up, like I did with all my Valentine's binging, we need to focus more on changing things up rather than the scale. I started obsessing over the scale and it didn't end up well for me this month, so I'm hoping to help out anyone else who might be struggling and as frustrated as I've been!2 -
