Well I made goal, with not much help from the last few days!! Geez! One day gets busy and it is like an avalanche-all of a sudden it is 11 PM and I have no idea where my day went! Life is messing with my workouts!!! :grumble: At least I shall finish strong!!! :laugh:Woohoo! You are strong! I bet that felt good too. You know you are making progress when without even thinking about it, you lift something you ordinarily wouldn't even tackle. Makes it all worth while.
In fact, I actually surprised myself because I just went into a Leslie squat and lifted it like I was doing her lower body work out without even thinking about it. It was so worth it to see My husband's face though!!!! :noway: It was precious!!!
Welcome eatsleepmove! We are so glad you found us and please do not even worry about starting out slow as we all did and "true confessions here," often have to start over slowly ourselves after a few "slacker" months. It happens to all of us. Remember, your goals are yours alone and we will encourage you to meet your goals as all of our goals are different.
OK 2020pinktogo, I need to teach at our branch campus then if this is what it takes to get some snow! All we are getting is the freakin' cold and NO SNOW!!! I am getting annoyed with this!!!! If it is going to be cold, it had better snow or I will move to Canada!!!! Do you think threats will work? :laugh:

5 Day Mix and Match - Jessica Simpson. I did the 2 mile pre-mix and a warm up and cool day. This is such a good dvd. Lot's of fun. There's not much to dislike about Jessica. What a team she and Leslie would make!2

The cold has come back here. I don't mind cold - but wind doesn't make it very nice walking. Along with all the other excuses I can come up with - I better make March a more productive month if I want to go to scrapbooking retreats in April!!1 -
Did Jessica Smith's Barefoot Fusion Walk. It's just under 30minutes but I tracked it at 1.3 miles. Of course I kept stepping during the stretching at the end.
Am I the only one that struggles to add arms into the workouts? As so as I try, I start stepping slower or not at all.1 -

Maybe just do what feels right to you. If it's just swinging them front to back like you would when walking. It will affect the rate you burn calories as anytime you raise your arms over your head, you are going to burn at a higher rate. (At least that's what Leslie says) So you could look at it as incentive to add more arm movement but go slow and build up if it doesn't feel right. It's really the pace of the walking that Leslie uses to compute the mileage so the arm thing is not really a big thing. HTH0
