I broke my 21-day liquids-only fast this weekend, and it looks like I have to teach myself how to eat and stay in my calories again. Glad failure is never final.4 -
@MegansMom2011 That sounds like my idea of hell. Is there some reason you've decided on liquid only fasting? It doesn't sound like a healthy long term sustainable plan.0

@tinkerbellang83 My church did a church-wide fast for 21 days. Everyone in church was supposed to try it in some fashion - no caffeine, no media, etc. I chose a liquid-only fast, but allowed myself to consume anything I could make into a liquid. So lots of protein shakes and smoothies and water and coffee, and even milkshakes were consumed. It wasn't much of a fast, except that I wasn't able to chew my calories. But I was staying within my calorie limits and also walking on the treadmill, and I've gotta start that up again. Hate it when I lose my motivation. So glad for this group to hold me accountable!0

@tinkerbellang83 I surprised myself and found that it was more feasible than I thought. But once I stopped fasting, I went overboard with eating food again. So, I gotta remember to log my food and drink water and exercise. You know, all the things that work to lose weight and be healthy.1
