Where do you skate out of? One of my step-granddaughters was on a team out of Conn.

I skate out of rural Minnesota. We're a small rec league but we have a lot of fun!

Cool. We used to have a GoaDie who became a referee in Conn. Can't remember her name, but Cindy would.

Shame she isn't around anymore, it would have been fun to swap stories!

As I recall, she had multiple names cause she kept getting banned.

Yes, and Cindy, for one, probably remembers her real name.

    :)
It's killing me that I can't remember her name. She and I used to email back and forth, because we had a lot of shared experience.

Her real name is Rebecca (Becca) and she's a lawyer. Her skating name had something to do with the legal profession; but I can't remember it right now.

Sounds like my kind of person! What did she keep getting banned for?

Becca had a penchant for double entendre, sexual references, and telling people to f* off.

Yeah, the WW "decency police" would ban her, and she'd be back the same day, with the same picture, and new screen name.

Yeah, she rarely substituted the word kitten. ;)

IIRC, she seldom, if ever, was banned for something said on our board. It was almost always for something she said on one of the other boards she frequented.

I personally liked the Cupcake Thrower names. Becca was one of a kind.

Becca!!! That's her name. Becca was awesome! She really fit in with us here at GoaD.

Yep I remember her too. I was looking yesterday at our membership 174 members and I kinda went through a few of them. I wondered why so many don't check in and see how things are going. Oh well onward and downward.

I think her screen name when I started was Freebee, or am I confusing her with someone else?

Nope but I liked freebee also.. One of many funky names Becca had was fungusballs as I remember.

Her Roller Derby name, as a Ref, was FURY.

She had series of names. I forgot about the balls series. Her way of tweaking the WW overlords

    FreeBee was Brenda.

When she was Mrs Fungusballs, we used to refer to her husband as Mr Fungusballs, which morphed into Mr Balls.
